"I think it's going to help people see that verbal abuse in relationships, and teen dating abuse in general, is a real thing," said Brandon Smith, a Columbia High student who modeled for one of the ads.
"It can happen to anyone — maybe it's someone you talk to every day or someone you sit across from at the lunch table." Wright said she hopes students will use the campaign as an opportunity to start a conversation about dating abuse.
